The Neurodivergent Conditions (Screening and Teacher Training) Bill would require screening for neurodivergent conditions in primary schools and set out requirements for teacher training on these conditions. Its aim is to support earlier identification of neurodivergent pupils and ensure teachers know how best to support them.
