This Bill brings together existing offences about the misuse of digital devices, technologies and online services for crime, including helping, preparing or concealing crimes and handling the proceeds. It updates these offences to keep pace with modern technology and includes training for those who work in policing and the courts. It also requires the Government to provide guidance to digital and telecoms firms to help reduce misuse.
