This Bill would require large UK companies to disclose more financial information and reveal who ultimately owns them. It would also require banks to report to HMRC the identities of companies that hold bank accounts, and would publish the tax returns of individuals above a certain income level and of the largest 250 UK companies. The aim is to improve financial transparency and reduce tax avoidance.
