The Tyres (Buses and Coaches) Bill would set a limit on how old tyres can be when fitted to buses and coaches, with the aim of improving safety and performance. It would include related provisions to support the main tyre-age limits and any connected measures.
The bill is currently at the 2nd reading in the House of Commons. If it passes this stage, it would move on to the committee stage for detailed examination.
