This Bill would set up a new body called the Business of the House Commission to regulate how the House of Commons schedules its business. It aims to make the timetable for debates, questions and other business clearer and more predictable by setting out rules for when and for how long things will happen. It also covers related provisions to ensure consistent management of the House’s business.
