This bill would give local planning authorities the power to decide the affordable housing contribution requirements for small sites (fewer than 10 residential units) when planning obligations are agreed under Section 106 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. It aims to give local authorities greater flexibility over how much affordable housing is required from small developments and related purposes.
