The Employment of People with Disabilities (Reporting) Bill would require certain organisations to publish annual statistics on how many of their employees have disabilities and what percentage that represents. It targets listed companies, public bodies and voluntary agencies and aims to improve transparency and drive improvements in disabled employment, with related provisions to support these goals.
The bill is at the 2nd reading in the Commons. If it progresses, it would move to committee stage and later readings in the Commons, and then to the Lords for consideration.
