The bill would create an independent commission of inquiry to look at how Parliament and others scrutinise what ministers do and the outcomes of their work as it relates to European Union institutions, policies and legislation. It aims to identify ways to improve transparency and accountability in EU-related government actions, through recommendations and related measures.
