If enacted, the Domestic Properties (Minimum Energy Performance) Bill would require the government to ensure that all domestic properties achieve at least a rating of C on their Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). The Secretary of State would be responsible for making sure homes meet this standard and for putting in place the steps needed to implement it.
