Unconscionable Conduct in Commerce Bill [HL] would make it a criminal offence to act in unconscionable ways in trade and commerce. It creates a new offence and related provisions to define unconscionable conduct and support enforcement in commercial dealings.
The bill is at the Second Reading in the Lords, an early stage of its passage. If it passes, it will move on to detailed examination in Committee stage.
