The Domestic Premises (Energy Performance) Bill would require most domestic properties to have at least a C rating on their Energy Performance Certificate. It also sets out rules to improve performance and insulation when installing or upgrading heating systems in existing homes. The Bill gives the Secretary of State powers to introduce further measures to support energy efficiency.
