The Tibet (Reciprocal Access) Bill would require the UK government to publish an annual report on how Tibet restricts access for UK nationals, and to compare that with restrictions in other parts of China. It also proposes a power to deny entry to people who are involved in imposing such restrictions, and includes related provisions to support reciprocal access.
The bill is currently at the Second Reading in the House of Commons. If advanced, it would proceed through the remaining stages in Parliament and, if enacted, become law.
