This Act puts the UK’s post-Brexit relationship with the European Union into law by implementing the EU–UK Trade and Cooperation Agreement and related arrangements. It covers trade in goods and services, security cooperation, and movement between the UK and the EU, and it sets out the wider governance framework for the future relationship. It received Royal Assent on 30 December 2020, turning the deal into UK law.
