The Covid-19 Financial Assistance (Gaps in Support) Bill would require the Government to assess whether there were any gaps in Covid-19 financial aid and to report to Parliament on the steps it plans to take to address any gaps. The assessment would look at support for individuals, businesses and industries affected by the pandemic, and Parliament would be informed of the Government’s proposed actions in response.
