This Bill would require schools to teach children about personal money management. It would also regulate personal finance advice centres and place conditions on money-lending companies to protect borrowers and improve financial literacy.
The Bill is currently at the 2nd Reading in the House of Commons. If it advances, it would move to committee scrutiny and then on to further readings before potential passage to the Lords.
