This Bill would make it a criminal offence to provide or advertise cheating services for higher education assessments. It targets services such as essay mills and similar help offered to students, whether online or in person, with the aim of protecting the integrity of degree qualifications.
The bill is currently at the 2nd Reading in the House of Lords. If it progresses, it will move to detailed examination in Committee of the Whole House and then on to further readings before possibly passing to the House of Commons.
