This bill would change employment law to better protect workers from being dismissed or re-engaged on worse terms because of trade union activity or other protected rights. It also aims to improve rules on workplace information and consultation and to strengthen trade union rights.
The bill is at the Commons' second reading stage. It has previously had first and second readings in the Commons, with further stages yet to be scheduled.
