The Caravan Site Licensing (Exemptions of Motor Homes) Bill would remove motor homes from the licensing requirements that apply to caravan sites. In effect, motor home users would not need caravan site licences, and operators hosting motor homes would have fewer regulatory obligations. The aim is to simplify rules around motor homes and their use on caravan sites.
The bill is at the 2nd Reading in the House of Commons. It would still need to progress through further Commons stages and the Lords before becoming law.
