A Bill to make provision for the holding of an inquiry into the Iraq war.

This bill would set up a formal public inquiry into the 2003 Iraq War. It would use the Inquiries Act 2005 to empower a Government-appointed 12-member panel to investigate the origins, legality and conduct of the invasion and to publish its findings.
Currently at the second reading stage in the House of Lords; if it progresses, it would move to committee stage and other readings before possible passage to the other House.
