The Bill would require the UK government to publish an annual report on how easy it is for UK nationals to access Tibet and Xinjiang, and how that compares with access to other parts of China. It would also create the power to deny entry to the UK for people involved in imposing such restrictions, and include related measures.
The Bill is currently at the second reading in the House of Commons. It earlier had its first reading in July 2021 and its second reading in May 2022.
