This Bill would require the Secretary of State to carry out a review of how effective the current gender pay gap reporting rules are. It aims to find out whether the reporting requirements are working in practice and what, if anything, should be changed.
The Bill is at the 2nd reading in the Commons. If it progresses, it would move to the Committee stage for detailed examination, followed by further stages in the Commons and Lords.
