This bill would change the rules for who can inherit hereditary titles (such as dukedoms, earldoms and baronies) so that female heirs could inherit on an equal footing with male heirs. In effect, daughters could inherit titles where the current rules favour sons, with related changes needed to put the new rules into practice. It also covers other related changes required to implement the reform.
