The Fertility Treatment (Employment Rights) Bill would require employers to allow employees to take time off from work for fertility treatment appointments. It would also cover related rights and arrangements to support attendance at treatment appointments, with the aim of making access to fertility services easier without risking employment.
It is currently at the Second Reading in the House of Commons. If it passes this stage, it would move to committee stage for detailed examination and then to further readings.
