The Bereavement Support (Children and Young People) Bill would require certain organisations and public bodies to inform children and young people about local, national and online support services available after a bereavement. It aims to make sure young people know where to get help and advice, with related provisions to support delivery.
The bill has completed its first reading in the Commons on 12 March 2024 and is currently at the second reading in the Commons.
