A Bill to require the Secretary of State to enter into negotiations with countries which are members of the European Union for the purpose of extending the Youth Mobility Scheme to applicants from those countries on a reciprocal basis; and for connected purposes.
This bill would require the Secretary of State to negotiate with EU member states to extend the UK's Youth Mobility Scheme to applicants from those countries on a reciprocal basis. If talks succeed, EU nationals would be able to come to the UK to live and work under the scheme on similar terms to UK participants, creating a two-way exchange for young people.
