A Bill to require new maternity units to have a bereavement suite; and for connected purposes.
All new maternity units would have to include a dedicated bereavement suite for families who lose a baby. The requirement applies to new builds and is designed to provide private, supportive space during bereavement. The Bill is currently at the Commons' second reading and is sponsored by Rosie Wrighting (Labour (Co-op)).
