House of Commons
27 October 2009
The Bill would require certain organisations involved in UK shipping to comply with recommendations made in reports by the Chief Inspector of Marine Accidents and the Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB). It would turn those recommendations into binding duties for those organisations and set out how compliance should be implemented and monitored.
