A Bill to establish duty on mobile network operators to introduce automatic roaming capabilities between mobile telephone networks in the United Kingdom; and for connect purposes.
House of Commons
12 November 2009
This Bill would require UK mobile network operators to introduce automatic roaming capabilities between networks. In practice, that means phones could switch automatically to another network to stay connected when their primary network has poor or no coverage. The aim is to improve overall mobile coverage and reliability across the country.
