The Off-Road Vehicles (Registration) Bill would create a compulsory registration system for off-road vehicles. It would require these vehicles to be registered and recorded in a central register to help authorities identify vehicles, aid enforcement, and reduce theft and misuse, improving safety and accountability for off-road vehicle use.
The bill has completed the first two readings and committee stage in the Commons and is at the money resolution stage (as of 2007-06-26).
