This Bill would create a new public body called the High Pay Commission. Its job would be to examine and report on very high pay levels in organisations and to make recommendations aimed at improving transparency and accountability. It also sets out how the Commission is appointed, how it operates, and how its findings would be shared with Parliament, along with related provisions.
