Recall of Elected Representatives (No. 2) Bill would give voters a formal mechanism to remove their elected representative in defined circumstances. It would set out how a recall is triggered, how the process runs, and what happens if a recall succeeds, along with connected provisions.
The bill is currently at the second reading in the House of Commons. If it passes this stage, it will move to the committee stage for detailed examination.
